Iconic Mexican QSR Franchise Jumps 10 Spots in Ranking for 2024
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Taco John’s International Inc. (Taco John’s®) announced today that it made the Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500® list, considered the best and most comprehensive franchise ranking in the world. This marks the 30th year the Mexican quick-service franchise has been ranked on the prestigious list.
The ranking achieved by Taco John’s highlights the successful growth made by the brand in the past year. In 2023 alone, Taco John’s opened 16 new locations in 2023 and has 8 stores in development, bringing the brand’s total number of locations to 370 open or in development in communities across the United States.

The key factors that go into the evaluation include costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. Each franchise is given a cumulative score based on an analysis of more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores become the Franchise 500® in ranking order.
