Taco John’s Launches into the New Year with More Momentum Than Ever

2022 is right around the corner, but we couldn’t possibly ring in the new year without taking some time to reflect on what happened this year to set us up for the next. This year certainly didn’t shape up exactly as we expected, but despite the challenges of a global pandemic, 2021 has been filled with growth and opportunity for Taco John’s, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team across the country for making it happen.   

This year we signed our biggest deal in our history with Meritage Hospitality Group. The development agreement includes 50 new restaurants by 2026, with the option to develop an additional 150 restaurants beyond that. We are thrilled to welcome Meritage to the Taco John’s franchise system, and we look forward to supporting their success in the years ahead!

Thanks to this deal and several others this year, 2022 is already queued up to be a record-breaking year for the brand with 35 new openings on the docket — and that list is growing!
